Schedule
:
Monday – Friday varied hours; rotating weekend work required
- Deliver and pick up merchandise at customers’ homes and work sites – providing customers with answers to product questions and behaving in a professional manner
- Verify the truck load to ensure its conformance with shipping documents
- Check truck’s equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness
- Unload product while maintaining the trip’s delivery schedule
- Maintain all DOT and Marvin documentation requirements/Marvin regulations
- Assist customers in the lumberyard with orders and loading
- Operate forklift for unloading and loading of trucks
- Maintain the appearance of the lumberyard, warehouses and products
- Assist customers inside the store and at the lumber desk as needed
- Have a valid Class A driver’s license (CDL) with a safe driving record, meeting all DOT requirements
- Have excellent customer service skills that represents Marvin in a professional manner
- Physically able to load and unload trailers and can pass physical assessment to a very heavy level
- Have prior knowledge of building products and experience in basic construction
- Are able to become certified to drive forklifts, boom lift, skid steer, and all delivery vehicles
- Are able to use computers and learn the point of sale (POS) system with required training
