Job Summary
Sherwin-Williams is hiring Regional Drivers based out of the Boise, . As a professional driver, you are responsible for safe, on‑time pick‑up and delivery of products to retail and customer stores in the region, as well as other duties required by the business.
Responsibilities- Transport and deliver/tail‑gate items to destinations as directed
- Understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations including DOT and FMCSA
- Uphold strict safety standards consistent with company policy
- Maintain accurate and complete DOT trip logs
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship for an employment work visa status now or in the future
- Valid Class‑A Commercial Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)
- At least five (5) years of Class‑A combination (tractor/trailer) road driving experience within the last ten (10) years
- Both Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain them upon conditional offer
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for public conversation, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and making entries on reports and records
- Both Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements
- Experience backing a CMV into tight spaces such as retail areas, parking lots, or driveways
- Freight touch experience (unloading and moving freight prior to and after delivery)
- Average annual salary range: $110,200 – $116,000 (based on miles driven and activities performed)
- Per‑mile compensation: $0.84 (includes $0.074 per diem) plus activity pay and eligibility for a safety bonus under applicable plans
- Weekly home time and weekly payroll
- Newer Volvo automatics, assigned trucks primarily pulling 48′–53′ trailers
