Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and safe before they hit the road. You will greet customers and send them off with a smile.
Main Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles
- Perform vehicle readiness inspections to ensure tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are up to date
- Maintain clean and safe facilities for customers and associates
- Build skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs, such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs
- Complete other projects and tasks assigned by the supervisor

- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to work outside
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and other information established by Penske management
- Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies, including correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices
- Regular, predictable, full attendance required
- Compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and maintenance of a current driver qualification file, including annual MVR, DOT physical, safety performance history, drug screening for CDL holders, and FMCSA clearinghouse review
- Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the required location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (criminal checks, employment, education), pass a drug screen and physical, and travel within a near geography for training if required
- Ability to work safely in a state of alertness, accept responsibility for own safety, and observe safety of others
- Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods during scheduled work
- Use hands routinely to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and operate required tools or controls
- Safely work at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
- Work safely in all weather conditions
- See and hear safely to navigate the workplace among moving trucks
- Regularly lift or move up to 50 lb (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lb (45 kg); push/pull truck tires that exceed 100 lb
$20.00/hr
