Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and customer‑service‑oriented Courier with a clean driving record to enhance our team.
Pay: Starts at $17.00 per hour, rate negotiable based on experience.
Schedule & RouteSchedule/Route: PRN (as‑needed) courier role covering Monday‑Friday and possible Saturdays. Hours vary and primarily cover staff call‑outs, PTO, and some scheduled shifts. Flexibility for last‑minute assignments is essential. Coverage areas:
Ontario, Boise, Twin Falls, and Eastern Idaho routes.

Responsibilities- Coordinate timely and efficient transportation of medical specimens and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform maintenance on company vehicles and transport devices.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Document operations and complete necessary reports.
- Assist with training and communication among couriers and relevant departments.
- Maintain consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance to ensure continuity of operations and support for our team and patients.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Strong preference for candidates with previous driving/courier experience.
- Licensing & Driving Requirements: Valid, unrestricted driver’s license; strong navigation, punctuality, ability to follow detailed instructions and drive in inclement weather.
- Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting of 30‑60 lbs; ability to enter/exit vehicle, sit and drive up to 4 hours nonstop; load/unload vehicle, frequent bending; wear personal protective equipment; handle potentially infectious samples; drive in all conditions including built‑up areas, freeway, rural traffic, darkness, inclement weather; may be exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens; kneeling, bending, stooping, twisting when performing vehicle inspections and minor maintenance.
- OHSA Category: Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis‑B vaccination series.
Hepatitis‑B Vaccination policy:
Employees exposed to blood or body fluids are offered free Hepatitis‑B vaccination series. Employees will be counseled upon hire, begin the series at the next scheduled vaccination day, and the series will be administered by a nurse at a designated clinic or hospital. Documentation is kept in the employee’s permanent personnel file. Medical Director may determine follow‑up protocol.
