We're partnered with a growing global organization in search of a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role offers exposure to traditional accounting and a mix of finance as this will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys understanding the "why" behind the numbers, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities- Support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Review account activity and investigate variances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and accounting procedures.
- Partner with finance, legal, human resources, and operational teams on accounting-related matters.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to strengthen controls and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders to ensure consistent financial processes and reporting.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
