This contract-based position is tailored for professionals with skills in school-based Speech-Language Pathology-whether you are an SLP with CCC, an SLP-CFY, or an SLPA looking to make a positive impact. The environment is collaborative and supportive, providing the chance to work with elementary-aged learners in a well-organized caseload.

Your schedule will follow a consistent Monday through Friday routine, with standard hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm during the regular school year, which concludes on May 29th. For those interested in extended-year support, ESY hours run from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm from June 1st through June 29th. Looking ahead, the new school year for staff begins Thursday, August 13th.

The current caseload consists of K-6th grade students across five classrooms, each capped at six students, allowing for highly personalized attention. With an overall enrollment of 22 (with the possibility of a few more), professionals here experience a manageable and engaging work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Current state licensure/certification for SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
  • Experience supporting K-6th grade students preferred
  • Comfortable working on-site in a school environment
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct intervention and therapy to students
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in line with school standards
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Adapt to the unique needs of each learner within a small group setting
