Speech Pathologist
Step into a rewarding opportunity working directly with students in a dynamic academic setting. This contract-based position is tailored for professionals with skills in school-based Speech‑Language Pathology—whether you are an SLP with CCC, an SLP‑CFY, or an SLPA looking to make a positive impact. The environment is collaborative and supportive, providing the chance to work with elementary‑aged learners in a well‑organized caseload.
ScheduleMonday through Friday, standard hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm during the regular school year which concludes on May 29. For those interested in extended‑year support, ESY hours run from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm from June 1 through June 29. The new school year for staff begins Thursday, August 13.
The current caseload consists of K‑6th grade students across five classrooms, each capped at six students, allowing for highly personalized attention. With an overall enrollment of 22 (with the possibility of a few more), professionals here experience a manageable and engaging work environment.
Key Qualifications- Current state licensure/certification for SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
- Experience supporting K‑6th grade students preferred
- Comfortable working on‑site in a school environment
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Provide direct intervention and therapy to students
- Maintain appropriate documentation in line with school standards
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Adapt to the unique needs of each learner within a small group setting
