Position SummaryCandidate will be responsible for engineering of material handling systems. Each system is custom designed per client based on the optimal solution. This requires a team effort of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, controls, software, and project management. The team will develop and implement a design concept that satisfies the customer's requirement for safety, functionality, reliability, throughput, and expense.
ResponsibilitiesWorks with other disciplines on the project team to make sure the engineered solution and all equipment fit within system confines and constraints
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical or Industrial, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years of material handling related experience

Skills and Abilities
Requirements
- AutoCAD and/or Solid Works proficiency
- Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project.
- Ability to handle multiple project assignments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment
- Strong knowledge of the material handling business
- Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers, vendors, consulting engineers, architects, and installers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Team‑oriented and collaborative
- Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented
- Ability to learn new technology
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand the English language
