AvailabilityMust be available to work any shift within the following time frames:
- Sunday 8 am – 6 pm
- Saturday 11 am – 7 pm
- Monday–Friday 11 am – 9 pm
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener, performing phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
Responsibilities- Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and team safety.
- Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
- Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
- Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- 80 % of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to risk level 1 blood borne pathogens exposure.
- At least 1 year minimum experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.
