Lead IT Analyst – Quality Governance

The Lead IT Analyst – Quality Governance will be leading all aspects of Quality Governance, including estimate templates, NFR templates, test strategies, test cases, Jira templates, decision matrices, test environments, and the development of a quality analysis dashboard. The Lead will support large‑scale analysis of test executions in agile and waterfall SDLC paradigms to evaluate quality and adherence to defect‑tracking standards for various on‑prem, cloud, SaaS, and infrastructure systems using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Power

BI.

Responsibilities
  • Be a thought leader, motivate, and provide direction to the quality engineering team and other project participants by building strong relationships across organizational boundaries and ensuring a positive experience for all involved.
  • Design and implement solutions to analyze and report on the overall quality maturity of various application teams across a defined set of categories.
  • Lead the creation and execution of test strategy templates by analyzing common test requirements, test conditions, data strategies, and acceptance criteria and assumptions.
  • Deliver the tasks as defined in the approved test plan and per the defined schedule, maintaining records of relevant information.
  • Design, develop, and maintain an environment strategy that considers the various systems, release timelines, and overall environment readiness.
  • Develop the data strategy for defining and managing consistent data sets for quality testing across different applications and environments.
  • Lead the quality test team and collaborate with business and other IT partners for delivering tasks on time and with quality.
  • Act as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining, and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans by facilitating open communication and discussion.
  • Ensure all quality‑related risks are reported, escalated, and managed through to resolution.
  • Evaluate quality‑related patterns and trends.
  • Align with product owners and project managers to help prioritize quality best practices as it relates to observed patterns and trends.
  • Drive quality engineering as an integral part of the SDLC.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance testing standards and processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS or equivalent professional experience.
  • Quality Engineering as the primary competency, with experience acting as a hands‑on lead and managing a quality testing team across onshore and offshore.
  • 5+ years of progressive quality engineering experience in waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery models using both automated and manual testing tools.
  • Experience working with product-agile teams.
  • Expert‑level proficiency in estimation, NFR gathering, test plan, workload models, test scenario design, test environment setup, test data setup, test execution, and defect management covering complex end-to-end flows.
  • Strong quality testing experience with technologies such as web sites, desktop applications, web services, microservices, SQL, No-SQL, Tibco, MQ, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Experience creating dashboards in tools like Power

    BI and clearly communicating the meaning behind the dashboards.
  • Experience in quality testing of both on-prem and cloud solutions (GCP, Azure, AWS).
  • Understanding and experience with Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis by coordinating with the respective teams and bringing issues to closure with acceptable resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage through conflicting priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining quality deliverables across projects.
  • Results oriented with a can‑do attitude, attention to detail, and excellent written, verbal, relationship-building, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Quality testing experience in a retail domain covering systems such as eCommerce, web, mobile, order management, supply chain, and warehouse.
  • Minimal travel required (training/conferences).
Benefits & Pay

Pay range: $ – $ per year, with the opportunity to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan.
