As a Power BI Lead, you will design, develop, and implement Power BI solutions that meet the business requirements of the organization. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify data visualization needs and create robust and scalable Power BI solutions. This role requires deep understanding of data modeling, visualization, and business intelligence concepts, as well as strong technical and analytical skills.
Roles And Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business intelligence objectives and design Power BI solutions aligned with organization goals.
- Develop data models, transformations, and calculations for efficient data visualization.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports, ensuring visual appeal and data accuracy.
- Work with data engineers to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, implementing data security and access controls.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability, addressing bottlenecks and enhancing query performance.
- Implement security measures, data governance policies, access controls, and retention standards.
- Schedule and manage data refresh processes for up‑to‑date reporting.
- Monitor, maintain, and update Power BI solutions, addressing issues proactively and applying necessary patches.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with expertise in designing and implementing solutions.
- Experience resolving performance issues in large‑scale BI implementations on big data platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting for Power BI reports.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, M, and Power BI Service.
- Experience with data integration, ETL processes, SQL, and relational databases.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP) and their integration with Power BI is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified:
Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified:
Power BI Certified are preferred.
