Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, club staff, and guests.

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of all areas of the club, including fitness equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club.
• Stock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items for the facility.
• Complete daily itemized cleaning checklist as set forth by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Assist with service to members and guests when required.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude toward all club staff, members, and guests.

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills to efficiently manage daily tasks and priorities.
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).

• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lb.
• Physical effort required for daily duties, including prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and reach to perform cleaning tasks in various areas of the facility.

• Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
