GENERAL SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of the warehouse associates engaged in Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Mgmt. for a 3-shift operation. Drives site performance (cost, productivity, customer service metrics) and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Schedule incoming and outgoing transportation
- Reviews documentation for incoming and outgoing loads
- Responsible for training and monitoring performance of direct reports
- Plans work schedules and assigns duties to warehouse staff. Performs tasks as needed
- Counsels employees in work- related activities, career development, and personal growth which include performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
- Provide clear performance expectations to vendors to meet on-time delivery and receiving requirements
- Ensure department operation KPI metrics are established and delivered
- Ensure the warehouse staff understands the expectation for meeting customer performance standards
- Ensure that all Maker’s Pride programs and best practices are implemented
- Responsible for working safely at all times.
- Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
3 or more years supervisory experience leading a logistics department accountable for shipping and receiving and inventory management in Food Industry or high-speed manufacturing environment. Knowledge of inventory management systems includes the use of scan guns.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stoop or crouch. In addition, some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs. The employee may be lifting up to 50 pounds on infrequent basis.
The employee will be pushing/pulling 300-600 pounds with assistance of pallet-jack or cart on an infrequent basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
70% on the floor and 30% in the office. Frequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, forklifts and fluctuations in temperature, ambient, refrigerated, and some frozen.

The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $58,962- $88,444/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
