Weather Tech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on machines used on the Injection Molding and Thermoforming production process.

Responsibilities- Operate various hand and power tools to perform maintenance work and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics components efficiently and in order of priority.
- Carry out assigned Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks.
- Communicate with prior/oncoming shifts regarding any maintenance priorities and status updates.
- Conduct daily maintenance checks and complete daily maintenance tasks.
- Operate a computer to maintain data on maintenance and completed repairs.
- Train new and existing team members on different functions of the work area to ensure all can perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to aid efficiency and productivity.
- Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures.
- Work overtime as business demands.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition while cleaning and maintaining equipment as needed.
- Communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 2 years of experience performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems; knowledge of Plastics Injection Molding and/or Thermoforming.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A trade school certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred, not required.
- Basic math, measuring and computer skills.
- Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and machinery manuals.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance related to plastics injection molding and/or thermoforming.
- High degree of attention to detail to prevent accidents, injuries, and quality issues.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Deliver high-quality results consistently.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Base hourly rate starting at $23 per hour or more, depending on experience.
- Second shift differential of $1 per hour.
