Machine Operator

Weather Tech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Machine Operator to operate thermoforming and/or injection molding machines, trim parts, and package all parts according to company quality standards.

• The base hourly rate of pay starts at $19.00 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour 2nd shift differential or $1.50 per hour 3rd shift differential.

• Operate or assist with the operation of machinery and equipment utilized in the production process.
• Use basic hand and cutting tools, including but not limited to hand trimming of various parts.
• Fill out all required paperwork.
• Lift and transfer raw material, finished product, and packed materials from conveyors and tables.
• Assemble parts, place labels on products, and package products.
• Ensure all quality standards are met.
• Train new and existing team members on different functions of the production area to ensure all are able to perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Have at least 1 year of prior experience in the manufacturing environment.
• Have a high degree of attention to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Be able to stand for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Be a team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be dependable, with an excellent attendance record.
• Have the ability to read and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
