Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job SummaryTroubleshoot and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all factory support equipment, including compressed air systems, emergency lighting, and dust collection systems.
Job Duties- Troubleshoot, modify and repair all automated process control and electrical‑mechanical machinery.
- Perform all preventative maintenance on machines and support equipment and assist with preventive maintenance throughout the facility.
- Collaborate with Production IT and Engineering to prevent machine downtime and communication‑related issues.
- Interact frequently with leads and operators to resolve equipment issues.
- Implement programs to decrease downtime and improve efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis when required on all plant machinery.
- Utilize KPIs to improve equipment uptime and reduce downtime.
- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of process controls.
- Reports to Maintenance Manager.
- Must be physically able to bend, stretch, and stoop as required.
- Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid.
- Requires normal hand, eye and walking coordination.
- Must work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
- On‑call rotation required.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Completion of a 2‑year electro‑mechanical course from a recognized technical institute is preferred.
- 1–2 years experience in general machining (lathe, milling, grinding).
- 5 years of manufacturing experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Team‑oriented and good communicator.
- Motivated and willing to learn new systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Strong mathematics and computer skills.
The pay range for this position is $28–$35 per hour and is eligible for an annual bonus.
