Extrusion Material Handler – 3rd Shift

Weather Tech Direct is seeking well‑qualified Extrusion Material Handlers to help prepare material for use in the extrusion process. This is a 3rd shift position with the hours of 11pm – 7:30am, M-F.

• Base rate of pay starting at $19.00 per hour

• Additional compensation: $1.50 per hour 3rd shift differential

• Load scrap material into grinding machines, operate grinding machines, and use a pallet jack to move pallets containing gaylords of material.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles and pallet jacks to load/unload and transport materials, supplies, components, and finished products between storage and work areas when needed.
• Operate vacuum hose to remove material from gaylords, and use a shovel to move the material toward the vacuum hose.
• Prepare pallets for material stacking, band and wrap pallets of finished material.
• Aid the Extrusion Operators as needed.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Have a minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Be a team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be dependable, with excellent attendance.
• Be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Have the ability to work/learn at a fast pace while maintaining the highest quality work standards.
• Be able to stand on feet for 8 hours.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Be fluent in English and be authorized to work in the United States.
