Machine Operator

For a manufacturing client based in Bolingbrook, IL, we are seeking a Machine Operator to work on site in a full-time, second-shift role. The position is structured as a temporary assignment with the possibility of permanent employment based on performance and business needs. The Machine Operator will work Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., supporting production activities in a structured, process-driven environment.

The role requires consistent attention to detail, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English, and a strong focus on safe operation of equipment and adherence to workplace procedures.

What You Will Do?

+ Operate assigned production machinery during the Monday to Friday 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shift following established instructions and work procedures.

+ Monitor machine operation during production runs, identifying irregularities and reporting issues promptly to maintain consistent output quality.

+ Perform basic machine adjustments as directed, such as starting, stopping, and clearing minor obstructions to support continuous operation.

+ Follow on-site safety guidelines at all times while working around machinery and equipment to reduce the risk of accidents or injuries.

+ Complete production-related tasks as assigned by supervisors, including handling materials or finished parts in accordance with work instructions.

Your Skills

+ Ability to communicate effectively in English, including understanding written instructions and conveying information clearly to supervisors and coworkers.

+ Capacity to follow structured procedures and guidelines consistently during the full second-shift schedule without close supervision at all times.

+ Willingness to work full time on site in Bolingbrook, IL, Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00  p.m.

+ Basic ability to work around machinery, including maintaining attention to detail and awareness of surroundings during repetitive production tasks.

+ High school graduation or equivalent level of education, providing the foundation to read, write, and follow standard workplace documentation.
