Foam Machine Operator – Bolingbrook, IL
Position:
Foam Machine Operator. Pay: $18.75 per hour.
Shift: First Shift 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday. Rotating shift options include 2:00pm–10:00pm.
Employment type:
temporary to permanent.
The Foam Machine Operator will convert and cut foam to various sizes and thicknesses using a vertical band saw and foam splitter. Six months of relevant experience is required. Detail‑oriented individuals are preferred.
Responsibilities- Machine set up.
- Cut foam into strips, sheets, pads, and shapes.
- Follow job tickets for size and cutting information.
- Move processed materials to other processes in the factory as needed.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
- Follow safety rules.
- Maintain a clean workspace.
- Six months of relevant experience.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read a ruler.
- Ability to read and understand fractions.
- Standing, kneeling, or sitting required for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
- Push and/or pull materials using pallet jacks, carts, 2‑wheelers, and other tools.
