The Production departments create personalized gifts for our customers. The Assistant Supervisor supports the Department Supervisor in a production warehouse environment to ensure a consistent, efficient, and high-quality product is delivered to meet customer expectations.
Shift1st Shift Between: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
Peak schedule may vary based on business needs
Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor daily department efficiencies using reports, calculations, and tracking data
- Inspect and distribute picked materials to production lines and personnel
- Continuously monitor order backlog, with a focus on express orders
- Operate department‑specific production equipment as needed
- Ensure equipment settings are accurate and aligned with production needs
- Guide and support POCs and production staff to meet required output levels
- Perform routine maintenance and assist in diagnosing and repairing equipment issues
- Report safety concerns, policy violations, and quality issues to the Department Supervisor
- Assist with training, onboarding, and staff adjustments
- Promote a positive work environment with high morale and performance expectations
- Maintain strong attendance and punctuality
- Perform additional department‑specific tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability required
- Strong training and facilitation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Demonstrates energetic, motivating, and team‑oriented behavior
- Ability to delegate tasks and multitask effectively
- Understanding of production lines and equipment capacity
- Ability to identify and recommend process improvements
- Proficiency in Windows‑based computer applications
- Demonstrates initiative and willingness to learn and grow
The expected hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
