Location & Shift

605 Territorial Drive, Bolingbrook, IL 60440

Nights Shift: 4pm-4am with expected mandatory additional hours including weekends.

Pay:
Starting at $19.00 per hour based on experience and skills.

About the Role

Looking for a professional to operate in our Insert Department. The operator runs mail manufacturing and letter shop production equipment and has at least 2 years experience on a high speed mail inserting machine.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Set-up, Operating and Maintenance of insert machines
  • Operate machine(s) independently for all types of mail production jobs
  • Independently operate inserter equipment to produce error-free mail (100% integrity) for high-priority or regulated client jobs, meeting strict quality and compliance standards.
  • Trouble‑shoot insert equipment and set up of basic jobs.
  • Meet established hourly production standards
  • Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
  • Reconciling/recording for all output. accurately use job data capture to track time with a strong quality of work
  • Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
  • Review schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
  • Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience on a high speed mail inserting machine
  • Excellent attendance record and punctuality
  • Position requires HS/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of USPS regulations
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets in English
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising other employees.

Work Environment

Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility.

Physical Demands
  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment
Security Clearance

Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
