Machine Operator II Lamination
Finishing Department takes printed panels and turns them into individual cards. The Lamination process turns individual layers of plastic into sheets of credit cards using heat, pressure, and time. This is a fast-paced area where consistency and attention to detail are essential as products transition to the next stage of production. This role works 1st shift Monday - Friday 5:30am - 1:30pm and requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues like changing electrical pins and suction cups within the machine.
STARTING AT $17/HOUR, INCREASES BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
Ability to comprehend and translate written work instructions to provide training to other employees and temporaries assigned in the department
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a time sensitive, deadline driven environment
Understanding of quality processes and procedures
Understanding the influences of the vision system. (Pixels, lighting, masking and filters – ensuring that the correct vision file is created)
Safety conscious with a good understanding of general safety requirements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Job Specifications:
- Exposure to shop noise
- Required to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to operate a mechanical machinery
- Physically able to bend, lift, and stand over long periods of time
- Flexibility on schedule (must be able to work overtime and on weekends on an as needed basis)
- Ability to look at work being produced in high-speed environment for extended periods of time
- Adheres to Master Card and Visa association security standards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, technical trade school training is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar manufacturing role
- Basic computer skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
