Material Handler

G&W Electric Co., a global leader in innovative power grid solutions, is seeking a Material Handler I to support production in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will safely receive, move, store, and stage raw materials and components for assembly, using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. You'll verify counts against work orders, maintain accurate inventory in our systems, and keep work areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, and store raw materials and components safely in the warehouse and production areas
• Stage and deliver materials to production lines according to work orders and schedules
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment following safety standards
• Verify material quantities and part numbers against packing lists and work orders
• Update inventory data in ERP or inventory systems and maintain accurate stock levels
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution
• Keep warehouse and production areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5
• S and safety practices
• Follow company safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures at all times
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to support on-time manufacturing
• Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety hazards promptly to supervision
