G&W Electric Co. seeks a Team Lead II to oversee daily operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring safe, efficient production of high-quality power grid components. In this role, you will coordinate work assignments, monitor output, and resolve issues to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets. You'll coach and develop operators, reinforce safety and 5S standards, and drive continuous improvement using lean tools.

The Team Lead II partners closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance to troubleshoot problems and support reliable, innovative power solutions for customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of a manufacturing team to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
  • Assign work, monitor performance, and adjust resources to meet schedules and customer demand.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, 5
  • S, and quality standards, promptly addressing nonconformances.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Use lean and continuous improvement tools to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Train, coach, and mentor operators, supporting skill development and cross-training.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, scrap, and downtime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, work instructions, and production records.
  • Support implementation of new products, equipment, and procedures on the line.
  • Promote a collaborative, integrity-focused culture aligned with G&W Electric's values.
