In this position, you will contribute to the Accelleron REMAN Center in Bolingbrook, Illinois, by providing mechanical skill and acumen to the REMAN Phase 1 and or Phase 2 production efforts. Using manual and automated processes you will take part in the dismantling, cleaning, Quality and or Assembly of turbo machinery and associated components for all turbocharger families supported by the station.
This role involves collaboration and communication with various Accelleron teams and departments to foster a culture of safety, innovation and improvement, ultimately leading to increased productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
Work according to working instructions and adhere to regulatory and company OHS policy and ensure colleagues performing Phase 1 and or Phase 2 activity work to the same standard, with a focus on safety, quality and on time delivery Use of hand tools, oxygen/acetylene torch, overhead crane and pneumatic/hydraulic tools Use of manual abrasive media cabinets, automated abrasive media cabinets and automated wheel blasting machines Use of ultrasonic and standard industrial tank cleaners, conveyor parts washers and rotary immersion machines Use of Smart Electronic hand tools / automated torque devices Preform daily pre‑use checks Maintain a clean and proper working environment Participate in division and local training programs Adapt to changing requirements, timelines and expectations.
SystemUse of laptop and tablet to access trainings hosted via company intranet Use of Microsoft Office for email, Teams communication, SharePoint and Forms/Power Automate Use of digital time clock and digital time reporting software Use of digital job board for tracking status of Phase 1 and or Phase 2 activities.
Continuous ImprovementContribute to development of Phase 1 and or Phase 2 activity risk assessments Participate in workshops to discuss opportunities for improvement, both from a process and technology standpoint Collaborate with other Accelleron Teams to find methods of increased communication and transparency between cross‑functional areas.

Education and RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED Working knowledge of turbochargers is a plus Background in engines or similar mechanical systems is a plus Prior experience with industrial machinery and tools is a plus Prior experience with remanufacturing is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work and contribute within cross‑functional teams Skill using Microsoft Office products
