Overview

    Arlington Heights and immediate surrounding areas
  • Schedule:

    M-F
  • Compensation: $50-$55/hr

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Health Management Plans for Pre‑existing Students within the District
  • Write new Health Management plans for new students entering the district
  • Coordinate with physicians to obtain updated orders of care and medication details
  • Coordinate with parents to obtain updated HIPAA release forms
  • Coordinate with school staff to ensure continuity of care (Teachers, counselors, psychologists, administrators, other nurses and/or aides)
  • Maintain medication cabinet(s) to ensure medications are stored safely, appropriately and not expired
  • Respond in emergency situations if called upon
  • Provide direct care to students (if needed)
  • Provide training to other nurses or aides that provide direct care to the student(s)
  • Host training sessions for non‑clinical staff members such as teachers and administrators on safety protocols (epi pen use, seizure precautions and procedures, etc.)
  • Coordinate student annual vision and hearing screenings (dependent on district)
  • Handle other duties as assigned
  • Professionally interact with colleagues, members of the public, and clients or business associates
  • Comply with all company policies and applicable laws
Qualifications
  • IL state RN license
  • CSN Certificate
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Current negative TB result
