A well-established and growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and continuously improve its quality systems, drive operational excellence, and support a culture of customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. This leadership position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while partnering closely with operations, engineering, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for the facility.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root‑cause analysis methodologies.
  • Analyze quality metrics and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
  • Manage customer complaints, corrective actions, and preventive action processes (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Develop and mentor quality personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support new product launches and process changes through APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and other quality tools as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Participate in supplier quality initiatives and customer interactions as needed.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in plastics, packaging, automotive, industrial, or other high‑volume manufacturing environments.
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM, or related certifications) are a plus.
  • Experience with customer‑facing quality responsibilities and supplier quality management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading corrective action investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality auditing practices.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality‑related software systems.
