Scooter's Coffee Shift Lead
Responsibilities include directing an efficient shift workflow and assisting the Store Manager in a variety of store operations duties. The Shift Lead serves as a role model of barista responsibilities and leads the team when the Store Manager is unavailable.
Ensure a consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and guiding the team in delivering the Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experience. Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and using downtime to prepare for the next rush.
Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members. Develop effective working relationships with team members, identify individual motivation factors, and provide clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance. Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales. Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures accurately and consistently. Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures. Ensure that all shifts are covered, especially in emergency situations. Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability. Assist Store Managers with administrative duties as requested.
Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must be able to open on weekdays. Must have open availability and the ability to open on weekdays.
