My client is a leading manufacturer of industrial valves, proudly serving the market for over 150 years. Based in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, the company has built a legacy of engineering excellence, product innovation, and long‑standing customer partnerships across a wide range of industries.
They are currently seeking a technical Inside Sales Representative to join their onsite team. This role is focused exclusively on inbound sales and customer support—ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, technically inclined, and experienced in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Handle inbound calls and email inquiries from customers regarding product information, pricing, and availability
- Provide technical support and guidance on valve specifications and applications
- Prepare accurate quotes and process orders from start to finish
- Collaborate with internal departments including engineering, production, and shipping to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers by delivering responsive, knowledgeable service
- Accurately manage customer information and sales activity in the CRM system
- Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical aptitude—able to understand and communicate product details clearly and confidently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented - Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Must be able to work onsite full-time in the southwest suburbs of Chicago
