Are you a connector, a closer, and a community builder? We're looking for a Sales Director who brings genuine enthusiasm for people and events — someone who sees every handshake as the start of a long‑term partnership and every event as a chance to show our guests something unforgettable.
This isn't a desk job. You'll be out in the community, representing our brand at trade shows, civic events, and everywhere our next client might be. Back at the property, you'll work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with our General Manager and Operations team to craft memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.
Duties- Identify and pursue new event business across corporate meetings, trainings, birthday celebrations, milestone events, athletic banquets, holiday parties, and fundraisers — while nurturing the relationships that already call us home.
- Serve as the face of our property in the community: attend trade shows, public events, and networking opportunities that raise our profile and generate leads.
- Own our social media presence with consistency and creativity, actively participating in public‑facing channels as a positive, visible brand ambassador.
- Build and execute a focused sales and marketing plan designed to hit — and surpass — revenue targets for groups of 10 or more guests.
- Collaborate with the operations team on menu development and event scheduling to deliver seamless, high‑quality experiences.
- Lead, coach, and grow a sales team through hands‑on mentorship that aligns individual performance with company goals.
- Negotiate event packages and utilize available inventory strategically to maximize yield and revenue.
- 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally in hospitality, food & beverage, entertainment, or a related service industry; a college degree is a plus.
- Hands‑on fluency with social media platforms — Linked In, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Pinterest — and a track record of using them to drive real business results.
- A natural ability to build trust quickly and maintain relationships over the long haul.
- Strong organizational skills and the self‑direction to manage a full pipeline with minimal oversight.
Comfort with Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools. - A team‑first mindset and the ability to lead with both accountability and encouragement.
- Flexibility to work weekends when events and opportunities call for it.
This role is active by nature. You should be comfortable standing and moving for extended periods, and occasionally lifting items up to 20 lbs. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
