- Opportunities to develop consultative selling, closing, and account management skills in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Direct collaboration with Territory Managers and leadership, providing mentorship and clear pathways for growth.
- Aggressively develop new business within an assigned territory through cold and warm lead outreach, qualification, and follow‑up.
- Partner closely with Territory Managers to vet opportunities, gather critical account insights, and support territory growth strategies.
- Manage and maintain accurate customer and prospect data in Salesforce, including contacts, activities, and opportunities.
- Promote new products and company programs using digital marketing tools, follow‑up calls, webinars, and conference calls.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, handling sales inquiries, quotes, and order fulfillment.
- Use active listening and consultative sales techniques to identify customer needs and recommend effective product solutions.
- Upsell and cross‑sell products and programs to maximize customer value and territory profitability.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with logistics and purchasing teams to ensure seamless order execution and high customer satisfaction.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales and profit goals, taking initiative to adjust strategies as needed.
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 2+ years of inside sales and/or customer service experience.
- Proven experience managing direct customer interactions, including resolving concerns and providing solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer‑focused approach.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow‑up skills.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer and phone.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and data entry.
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone, video conferencing, and email.
- Ability to pass pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Inside sales experience within the building products industry.
