Maintenance Mechanic

Maintain facility and equipment to accommodate production and warehousing in a safe working environment. Act as front‑line leaders for technical knowledge on highly complex automation or equipment problems, collaborate with external contractors and vendors, and communicate with key stakeholders about safety, quality, and production impacts.

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements for all equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical device issues and correct them to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Control downtime by communicating with all departments.
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories and conserve resources when possible.
• Be responsible for facility maintenance.
• Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all required personal protective equipment and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Be actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

5 years of experience highly preferred.

• Safety‑sensitive position with the ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to effectively work in teams.
• Ability to work in a production‑based environment with moving equipment and people.
• Effective communication skills across a wide variety of roles.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and, where necessary, complete blueprints, electrical schematics, operating and maintenance manuals, work orders, repair parts requests, and standard and metric measurements using tools such as a micrometer, caliper, scale, or VOM (Volt/Ohm Meter).
• Advanced knowledge of machine operations and mechanical functions.
• Ability to disassemble, repair, troubleshoot, overhaul, rebuild plant machines, and make simple parts or equipment tools.
• Operating knowledge of and experience with personal computers.

• Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting.
• Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Facility is a cold environment.
• 1st shift Monday‑Friday.

The expected hourly range for this position is $30.00‑$35.00. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic term life, AD&D, short and long‑term disability, EAP, 401(k) retirement savings plan, PTO, and paid holidays.
