Schedule

Sun, Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Compensation

$23–$24 per hour

Pay Incentives
  • Attendance Incentive – up to $2,400 bonus for good attendance (refer to policy for rules and details)

Job Purpose

Perform loading and unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers, ensure proper storage of shipments, and pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently load/unload trucks, trailers, and outside carrier equipment
  • Pick and move items ranging from 1 lb to 50 lb or more repeatedly
  • Complete all required documentation accurately
  • Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve discrepancies
  • Store inbound loads in the correct warehouse location
  • Mark all shipments before storing or picking
  • Maintain orderly stacking and good housekeeping in the warehouse area
  • Spot trailers to keep efficient yard organization and equipment flow
  • Coordinate paperwork with drivers after dispatch operations
  • Assist in general maintenance around the warehouse
  • Sweep trailers clean when empty
  • Ensure shipments are correctly staged and loaded
  • Process outbound and cross–dock freight as necessary
  • Operate stand‑up reach forklifts, cherry pickers, and other sit‑down forklift work
  • Follow all safety procedures at all times
  • Build and break down pallets as needed
  • Work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management
Additional Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift, cherry picker, and stand‑up reach forklift
  • Demonstrate good communication, problem‑resolution, and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain orderly warehouse operation
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year forklift driving experience
  • Certified forklift license
Education and/or Experience Required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
Language Skills
  • Communicate, read, write, and speak English
  • Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and regulations; write reports, correspondence, and manuals; present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
Mathematical Skills
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; interpret bar graphs
Reasoning Ability
  • Solve practical problems in varied circumstances; interpret instructions in writing, orally, or with diagrams; determine root cause and corrective action
Computer Skills
  • Knowledge of business operating systems, internet software, word processing, and spreadsheet software
Physical Demands
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lb; use keyboards and buttons; speak front‑of‑others; work indoors; sit or perform repetitive hand motion; stand, walk, talk, and hear frequently; work >8 hours when required; perform under stress; maintain accuracy while multitasking; read and discern visual images with 20/20 corrected vision; communicate over the phone; maintain sound physical health per physician assessment
Work Environment
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles; noise levels range from quiet to moderately loud
