As a Field Service Technician, you'll work at customer sites helping inspect, diagnose, maintain, and support critical equipment and systems. Perform field service activities at customer locations safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
Diagnose equipment conditions and recommend solutions.
Support the identification and correction of safety concerns on customer and company-owned equipment.
Interact directly with customers to provide technical support and service.
Work across multiple customer sites and technologies.
Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Support a positive customer experience and represent Xylem professionally in the field.
Collaborate with teammates and internal support groups to resolve customer issues.
Your work directly supports customers who depend on reliable equipment and technical expertise every day.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- 0-2 years of technical experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and smart devices.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous field service experience.
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience, a plus!
- Experience working with industrial equipment.
- Experience with Pumps or Water treatment equipment is a plus!
Mechanical aptitude
This position requires regular travel to customer locations.
Travel: 50% or more, local.
