To perform loading/unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers. Ensure all shipments are properly stored in the warehouse. Pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customer.

• Loading/unloading truck/trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carrier equipment.
• Picking and moving items from 1 lb to 50 lbs or more multiple times.
• Ensure all documentation is properly completed.
• Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve any discrepancies.
• Proper storing of all inbound loads in the correct warehouse location.
• Ensure all shipments are properly marked before storing/picking.
• Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
• Spotting of trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into warehouse.
• Coordinate paperwork with drivers after normal dispatch operations are finished for the day.
• General maintenance of surrounding warehouse area.
• Ensure trailers are swept clean of debris when empty.
• Ensure all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
• Process outbound freight cross-dock freight as necessary.
• Ability to operate Stand-up Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and some sit-down forklift work.
• Follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Must be able to build pallets and break down stock.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

• Must know how to operate a forklift, cherry picker, and stand-up reach forklift.
• Good communication, problem resolution, and people skills.
• Ability to maintain orderly operation of warehouse.

• 1 year forklift driving experience.
• Certified forklift license.

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percent; interpret bar graphs.

• Ability to solve practical problems; interpret instructions; determine root cause and corrective action.

• Knowledge of business operating systems, internet software, word processing, and spreadsheet software.

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to operate phone systems and communicate clearly.
• Regularly works in an indoor/office environment and may require sitting and repetitive hand motion.
• Frequently required to talk, hear, stand and walk.
• Must be able to work in excess of 8 hours when required.
• Must be able to work under stressful situations with good cognitive skills and concentration.
