Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be part of the administrative support team supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth communication between drivers and office staff.

Pay Rate: $23.50

Shift: Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 3 PM

• Perform various office and administrative duties including handling accounts payable/receivable and collections
• Assist with payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, and maintaining database records
• Audit logs, trip reports, and other DOT reporting requirements to ensure compliance
• Maintain and distribute route books, coordinate daily with drivers, and support driver coverage for vacations and overflow freight
• Track pallets, review driver logs, and ensure driver files meet DOT requirements

• Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks efficiently and accurately
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of office software and database management
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
• Prior experience in transportation or logistics is a plus but not required
