Transportation Clerk

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be part of the administrative support team supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth communication between drivers and office staff.

** Pay Rate:**  $23.50

** Shift:
** Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 3 PM

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform various office and administrative duties including handling accounts payable/receivable and collections

+ Assist with payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, and maintaining database records

+ Audit logs, trip reports, and other DOT reporting requirements to ensure compliance

+ Maintain and distribute route books, coordinate daily with drivers, and support driver coverage for vacations and overflow freight

+ Track pallets, review driver logs, and ensure driver files meet DOT requirements

** What's Needed?*
* + Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks efficiently and accurately

+ Strong organizational and communication skills

+ Basic knowledge of office software and database management

+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

+ Prior experience in transportation or logistics is a plus but not required
