Primary Staffing is hiring a reliable and safety-focused Yard Spotter Driver to support daily yard and dock operations for a growing logistics company. This position is responsible for safely moving and positioning trailers throughout the yard and at dock doors, performing trailer checks, communicating dock assignments, and supporting trailer pickup and staging operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

As operations continue to expand, employees may temporarily be scheduled at both the Bolingbrook and Joliet facilities based on business needs. Reliable transportation between both locations is required.

• Safely move and position trailers throughout the yard.
• Move trailers to and from assigned dock doors.
• Perform trailer checks before and after movement.
• Communicate and follow dock assignments.
• Support trailer pickup, staging, and yard movement.
• Maintain an organized and efficient yard.
• Communicate with warehouse and operations teams regarding trailer movements.
• Follow all company safety procedures and yard protocols.

• English proficiency required.
• Comfortable safely moving and positioning trailers.
• Strong awareness of yard and dock safety.
• Able to follow dock assignments and operational instructions.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Reliable transportation between Bolingbrook and Joliet required.
• Available Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Yellow safety vest required.

Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Saturday:
As needed

Pay: $20.00 – $21.00/hour Position:
Temp-to-Hire

Industry: Third-Party Logistics (3PL) / Freight Forwarding
