Warehouse Order Selector Evening Shift

Summary

Fresh Thyme Distribution Center Selector is responsible for continuously developing a strong understanding of the picking process, pallet building, forklift and electric pallet jack use, and warehouse safety procedures. The Selector uses RF and Voice to pick and load cases efficiently and accurately.

Salary starts at $21.75 per hour. Employment is full‑time with availability required on Saturdays and Sundays, and a minimum of 1 year of EPJ experience.

• Picks the correct items and quantities using Voice‑driven process.
• Builds and shrink‑wraps a stable, well‑cubed pallet.
• Loads trailers as assigned.
• Checks and reports damage, shorts, miss‑slotted items, or other quality issues.
• Follows and enhances SOP for labeling, stacking, and put‑away of inbound receipts.
• Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems, RF, Voice‑directed pick;
  Power Warehouse preferred.
• Collaborates with management to develop and implement process improvement plans.
• Follows all food safety policies and procedures.
• Performs general housekeeping: sweeping and debris removal in aisles.
• Fixes unstable or uneven pallets in pick and reserve slots.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must have 1 year of experience driving an Electric Powered Pallet Jack.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in grocery or wholesale distribution; produce or fresh foods preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF;
  Power Warehouse preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of grocery, produce, and related departments beneficial.
• Physical requirement: prolonged standing, walking, squatting, bending in a refrigerated environment.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
