JOB SUMMARY
Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for coordinating overall shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Conduct shipping/receiving, including picking product, labeling, packaging product, and facilitating scheduling shipment using the routing guidelines.
- Load and unload trucks, vans or other transportation vehicles with boxes or materials.
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements, including product identification, packaging, carriers, routing and billing requirements.
- Ensure the appropriate work environment organization, housekeeping and cleanliness.
- Maintain inventory management and assist with physical inventory.
- Perform related job duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Prior experience with forklift, issuing material, sheet destruction and vault issuance of materials.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude and teamwork mentality.
- Understanding and willingness to follow safety and quality control procedures.
- Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week plus occasional overtime as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong planning, organizational and counting skills along with flexibility and the ability to make decisions.
- Willingness to take part in background check and drug test process.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pound boxes.
- Requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per day.
- Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals.
- Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner.
Pay ranges from $20-$22/hour, based on the role, level, and shift.
