Warehouse Team Lead – Bolingbrook, IL
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead position with weekly pay and excellent benefits.
Pay & BenefitsHourly Rate: $23.00 per hour.
Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour for 2nd Shift.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Second Shift 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.

- Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Allocate resources and organize daily work duties for team members to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
- Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
- Assist in orientation of employees and provide necessary information, technology, and tools to perform their jobs.
- Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
- One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
- One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required.
- Valid forklift operator's license certified.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Flexible to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proactively approaches responsibilities.
- Maintains composure under pressure.
- Work using health and safety methods.
- Bilingual (for Québec locations only).
