Forklift Operator

KENT® Precision Foods Group, a member of the KENT Corporation family of companies, has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Forklift Operator! This position is responsible for all daily activities involved with warehousing. Such as being responsible for all shipments/orders shipping out and/or material being received in. The loading or unloading of trucks. Managing the warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion.

Physical cycle counts as needed. This position also covers for the Warehouse Lead in his/her absence. Must be forklift certified.

• "The compensation range for this role is $18 to $20 per hour in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors."

• Fill out accurate receiving log for all packaging and raw materials
• Match purchase order with bill of lading. Run PFI lot #’s for each pallet
• Rotate stock for first in first out usage and/or Shipments
• Consult with Shipping or Receiving Supervisor for required materials
• Advise Quality Control daily of any problems with ingredients or finished goods
• Advise Shipping/Receiving Supervisor of any shortages, damages, etc…
• Keep Warehouse aisles clean of debris, boxes, pallets, etc…
• Repair or destroy any damaged ingredients or finished products as directed. If destroyed, report type, quantity, resource and lot numbers and location to Shipping/Receiving Supervisor
• Maintain forklifts with proper charging and water in battery
• Maintain adequate records of receiving and/or shipping
• Do monthly cycle counts on various items per management
• Do physical counts as instructed per management
