Warehouse Worker - Dock Associate - 1st Shift

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse dock associates to join an excellent team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are safety conscious, have a pleasant and outgoing attitude, and want to excel in a warehouse environment.

Base Rate: $22.50 per hour

Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

• Follow all safety requirements.
• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Load and unload trailers in a safe manner.
• Open and close dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sort and place parts in racks or designated areas.
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Scan freight/parts.

• Prior warehouse experience not required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, provide customer service, multitask, organize, be flexible, and manage time and numbers.
• Flexible to work overtime (preferred).
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specified location.
• Must complete a Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening.

The responsibilities of this position require frequent moving, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate must be able to use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg). Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Note: This position is designated as safety sensitive. The associate must maintain a constant state of alertness and must accept responsibility for safety of self and others.
