Warehouse Worker | Recycling Operations
Looking for a stable, hands-on warehouse opportunity where your work directly supports sustainability and environmental responsibility? Join our team and play a key role in recycling operations by sorting materials, operating specialized equipment, and helping keep valuable resources out of landfills.
Shift Available: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Open availability required. Must be available to work any day Sunday through Saturday, including overtime as needed.
DailyResponsibilities Include:
- Sorting and separating recyclable materials according to facility guidelines
- Identifying and categorizing various recyclable products accurately
- Moving and staging materials throughout the warehouse
- Supporting efficient recycling operations and production goals
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Working closely with supervisors and teammates to meet daily targets
- Completing required documentation, production records, and safety checklists
- Operate a Baler to safely compact recyclable materials
- Operate a Styrofoam Densifier to process Styrofoam and related materials
- Monitor equipment performance during operation
- Report equipment issues or malfunctions promptly
- Follow all operating procedures and safety guidelines
- No prior Styrofoam densifier experience? Candidates with strong warehouse backgrounds and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply!
- Handling recyclable materials safely and efficiently
- Moving products throughout the warehouse
- Staging materials for processing and shipment
- Maintaining production flow throughout the facility
- Supporting warehouse operations wherever needed
- Following established recycling and housekeeping standards
- Experience sorting and separating recyclable materials
- Experience operating a baler or similar compacting equipment
- Strong material handling experience
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to follow detailed operating procedures
- Ability to work the 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM shift
- Open availability Sunday through Saturday
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience in a recycling facility
- Industrial manufacturing or production experience
- Familiarity with equipment inspections and reporting mechanical issues
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Location:
This is a Contract position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.45 - $20.45/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
