Director, Finance (CSM – Spare Parts & Service)

Responsibilities
Partner with the Leadership Team to support Husky’s Customer Success Management (CSM) strategy and guide the business in achieving growth and efficiency initiatives.
Transform the finance side of CSM to ensure the aftermarket service business can best support customers.
Strategic Business Partnering – become integral to the organization, driving value creation through identifying opportunities and risks, providing critical information, and supporting operating and strategic decisions.
Work with Finance and non‑Finance team members to help them think about business and financial challenges, integrate variable drivers, and develop solutions that increase self‑reliance.
Participate in and support transformational projects related to enhancements in Finance and CSM, including:
Developing a best‑in‑class order fulfillment process and service coverage for CSM.
Improving financial processes, structures, reporting tools, and metrics for Finance to drive growth and cost efficiency.
Develop and mentor a finance team capable of analytical decision‑making, strategic thinking, and change management.
Deliver consistent, timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reporting to support internal and external stakeholders, with increased self‑serve capabilities.
Provide value‑added financial support to the Customer Service team, ensuring consistent costing and budgeting aligned with corporate targets.
Complete timely budgets and forecasts for global operations and provide direction to functional leaders on targets and strategic changes.
Manage consolidated financial reporting, statements, period‑end reports, and key performance indicators, identifying root causes of variances and recommending mitigation actions.
Technical / Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Strong accounting knowledge (US GAAP, local GAAP, IFRS, SOX) and analytical experience.
Team‑building and people development.
Adaptability, agility, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Stress management and conflict resolution.
Commercially savvy with strong business and financial acumen.
Identifying financial weaknesses and implementing effective internal controls.
Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause problem‑solving track record.
Detail orientation with ability to provide concise explanations to stakeholders.
Sound ERP and Microsoft Office experience.
Project management experience.
Successful cross‑functional collaboration on transformational projects.
Qualifications
Completion of a professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA, CGA).
University degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
7–8 years progressive accounting experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
