Position: Caledon Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Role
Become a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician with Aecon in Caledon, Ontario, and leverage your mechanical expertise to service drill rigs and earthmoving machinery. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while enhancing equipment performance.

This position requires a self-motivated technician to carry out repairs, inspections, and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment including cranes and piling rigs. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your work will impact the overall efficiency and safety of machinery operations in our Cambridge shop. Initiative and diligence are key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly and maintenance of heavy-duty machines

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems

• Operate hoists for safe machinery parts positioning

• Suggest improvements to policies for better efficiency

• Ensure documentation and compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a Red Seal Licensed Technician

• Strong background in crane and piling rig repair

• Valid driver's license and clear driving record

• Capable of heavy lifting and physical demand

• Compliance with the company's work policies required
