Qualifications / ExperienceBSc Chemistry or equivalent STEM qualification.

MSc, MChem or PhD desirable but not essential.

Experience with in coatings, chemicals, materials science or product development environments.

Demonstrated experience of independently managing technical projects.

Proven ability to analyse technical data and make sound recommendations.

Experience working with customers, suppliers or external testing organisations desirable.

High level of coatings knowledge preferred.

Passive Fire Protection or Intumescent Coatings experience highly desirable.

Technical Skills Strong formulation and problem-solving capability.

Sound understanding of experimental design and data interpretation.

Ability to conduct technical investigations and recommend solutions.

Effective project planning and organisational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.

Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary range for this role is 43 to 48k GBP#LI-JS2
