Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Richmond, Virginia

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start:
June 22, 2026 | Every third weekend required with 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule

• Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients in a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit with a 1:1 labor patient ratio
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Care for antepartum patients as well as newborn and postpartum patients at ratios of 5–6:1
• Utilize GE fetal monitors and document care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursery nurses, OB techs, and unit leadership

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience in an LDRP setting
• Experience in a high birth volume environment

• Work in a well-staffed, structured Maternal Infant Unit with a supportive team including educators and dedicated leadership
• Gain experience across the full continuum of maternal care including labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
