Company Description

AAA General Contractors, LLC is an established general contractor specializing in federal, government, institutional, and commercial construction projects.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a phased renovation project at an active, occupied government-owned medical center in Bonham, Texas.

About the Project

The project consists of phased renovations within an active medical facility. Construction will be performed in multiple phases so the medical center can remain operational throughout the project.

The anticipated construction duration is approximately 240 calendar days, or 8 months. However, this is not intended to be a temporary position. Upon successful completion, we anticipate assigning the Superintendent to another AAA General Contractors project based on our ongoing workload and project needs.

We believe in hiring good people and keeping them long-term. We have very low employee turnover and are looking for someone interested in becoming a long‑term member of our team.

Because construction is taking place inside an occupied medical facility, the Superintendent must understand infection control, life safety, dust and debris containment, cleanliness, noise control, phasing, shutdown coordination, and minimizing disruption to ongoing medical operations.

Hospital Construction Experience Is Required

Previous construction experience inside an occupied hospital, medical center, or similar healthcare facility is required.

If you do not have construction experience inside an active healthcare facility, please do not apply. We do not want to waste your time or ours. We need someone who understands that construction inside an operating medical facility is very different from an unoccupied commercial project.

Government construction experience is strongly preferred.

Position Summary

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the daily field execution of the project from mobilization through final completion.

The Superintendent will manage daily operations, subcontractors, scheduling, manpower, site logistics, deliveries, inspections, and field coordination to keep the project on schedule and in compliance with the contract documents.

We need someone proactive, organized, experienced in managing multiple trades, and capable of identifying and resolving field issues before they affect the schedule.

The Superintendent will work closely with the Project Manager, Quality Control/Safety Manager, subcontractors, government representatives, inspectors, testing agencies, and facility personnel.

On-Site Attendance Requirement

This is a 100% on-site position in Bonham, Texas. It is not remote or hybrid.

The Superintendent must be physically present Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and whenever construction activities are taking place.

Because this is an operating medical facility, some work will occur after normal hours, including occasional nights and weekends. The Superintendent must be available and on site during these activities.

Simply put, if construction work is taking place, the Superintendent is expected to be on site.

Project Leadership & Field Execution

  • Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, equipment, materials, and deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules.
