Junior High Teacher TBD/Girls Coach Purpose
To develop students' skills and ability level in core subject areas.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
- Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
- Texas State Certification applicable.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to the teaching assignment.
- Master's degree in related area preferred.
Junior High Principal and Athletic Director.
Experience- Successful prior teaching experience is a plus.
- Begin August 3, 2026
- 181 days
- See BISD Teacher Salary Scale.
- + Applicable Certification Stipend.
- BISD pays $325.00 towards medical premium.
- BISD pays Telehealth premium.
